Family and Friends of the Visually Impaired People Initiative (FAF-VIPI) is a registered non-governmental organization committed to enhancing the quality of life for individuals who are blind or visually impaired within school age, as well as providing guidance and support to their families, caregivers, and communities to enable them understand their roles and responsibilities in the lives of visually impaired people.
At FAF-VIPI, we believe that visual impairment should not be a barrier to education, employment, independence, or social inclusion. Our organization works to foster understanding, compassion, and empowerment through education, advocacy, and practical support.

We offer orientation sessions, counseling services, support groups, and educational materials to help families understand visual impairment and learn effective ways to support their loved ones. We also connect families with experienced mentors who have navigated similar challenges.
We offer accessibility consultations for businesses looking to become more inclusive. This can include recommendations for physical accessibility, staff training, accessible materials (like braille or large print), and digital accessibility for your website and apps.
